This website aims to impart a little about me that would be difficult to convey on a resume.   

Professionally I have been a two-time CIO and executive leadership team member that executed a successful exit with two PE-backed companies. I have been a global infrastructure director for a rapidly growing international commercial real estate developer. I have had management consulting roles with one of the big six consulting firms (now big four) and later with a regional boutique consulting firm. 

My combination of business acumen and technical chops allow me to be as comfortable in front of the board as I am in a room with technical teams. I find joy in helping fast-growing companies scale or turnaround situations for mid-size organizations. 

The KFJ secret sauce is my ability to leverage cross-functional teams to deliver digital capabilities in radically new ways with a relentless focus on disruptive innovation to drive revenue. I am looking for a full-time CIO role or a CIO advisory role where I can make a significant impact on business outcomes.  

I grew up in South Eastern Idaho, where I developed my love for the outdoors. I am an avid cyclist who owns more bikes than I care to admit. My dad had me on skis before I was five years old, and time stands still for a day when I am on the slopes.  Most weekends, you will find my wife and me on a bike, hike, or backpacking. The outdoors is a place of peace for me and a place to refill my mental tank.  

I have been married to the same person for 34 years, and I am fortunate to have a woman willing to stick with me for all these years. We have three beautiful children who are a joy and inspire me daily to be an excellent example of hard work and perseverance.
